Measure the mattress height Measure from the floor to the top of the sleeping surface, not only the frame.

Will my dog actually use these stairs?
Yes. Wobbly stairs scare dogs, but our steps are engineered for rock-solid stability. We use high-traction carpet or anti-slip corduroy to build confidence, and a little training with treats gets them comfortable quickly.
Are foam stairs sturdy enough for a heavier dog?
Our high-density foam models are built with structural CertiPUR foam that resists collapsing under weight. However, for extremely heavy breeds, we recommend our solid wooden furniture-style models for maximum rigidity.
How do I know which height to order?
Measure from the floor to the top of your mattress. You generally want the top step of the stairs to be slightly below or perfectly flush with your mattress height for a seamless transition.
