Check the tread beyond its outside width
Outside width is only one dimension. Look at the flat tread area, rounded edges and any rails that reduce the walking space.
- Request usable tread width and depth.
- Compare individual rises.
- Check room to approach and turn.
Breed labels group very different individual dogs. They are not a fit specification.
Compare the whole bedside
The pictured green three-step and grey four-step models differ in height and floor length. A ramp offers a continuous incline but needs its own setup geometry.
